Easy to Install – Bought direct from Innovv Australia, and it was really easy to install even just off a powerbank and not hardwired (you have both options).

Already coming in handy – someone reversed into me and didn’t leave their details. Clear footage, very happy with it.

INNOVV K6: Fantastic motorcycle dashcam – Bought directly from Innovv Australia Website. Product received quickly and in a superb packaging; the product feels really sturdy and premium. Comes with brackets to fix it anywhere on your motorbike (I installed mine on the front and rear signals screws using the small brackets provided). Things I like is that the K6 doesnt require a separate main controller taking space under the seats. The Micro SD memory card goes into the front camera directly. Simply install the front and back cameras first, then choose either the short or long lead cable to connect them. Easiest way to power is to use a USB port on your bike, and the camera will then start recording automatically front and back when you start your bike. Took me about 90min on my BMW GS1250. Do take note that the orientation of the camera is based on the “Innov” marking: When installed with the marking on top, the camera is properly orientated. Reason for buying was to document my rides, but also for safety purpose on the road. You can retrieve the footages through the Innov app (connect on wifi onto the K6 wifi network), or remove the Micro SD card and plug into a computer. I recommend that you purchase a high capacity micro SD (128 or 256gb), and the system will auto write back on earliest video when it gets full, so no manual intervention.

INNOVV K6 – Discrete installation – Purchased online from INNOVV Australia. Packaging was very neat and high quality. Installation was simple and could have been done with all the fittings provided however to improve the mounting geometry for my application used some other stainless hardware I had on hand. The app connected easily and so far first time each time which is great compared to some other dashcams I have used in vehicles.

Innovv K6 cameras are a simple insurance policy – I installed two Innovv K6 back and front cameras on two bicycles. It was fairly easy to install powering them with external battery packs. I use the cameras basically as an insurance policy against other motorists who drive dangerously. Previously I have found that if there is a traffic altercation, the police will only intervene if supplied with objective video footage. Some improvements that could be made are adding audio signals that indicate the cameras are working or have run out of power, and making the on/off button easier to read in bright sunlight. The staff at Innovv were super helpful with any technical questions you might have regarding the installation.

Moto Guzzi V85TT install – Purchased directly from INNOVV Australia. Packaging was good quality and sturdy enough to survive transport. The camera was dispatched quickly and arrived in a few days. I found installation to be simple and the fittings and tools that are provided allow mounting in almost any place. You still need to be creative with positioning cameras to best suit your own application. The APP connected easily the first time, and configuration of the camera, as well as formatting the SD card can all be done from your phone. Viewing videos directly from the camera (via the APP) is a bit slow, with a little buffering to contend with but when the SD card is plugged into the computer it runs nicely via VLC Media Player (free download). Quality of video is on par with most “Dash Cams” I have seen, and a number plate can be read in most situations. Action cameras will probably provide a better image but I don’t think that’s not what the K6 is about. I prefer a camera that doesn’t have GPS tracking included so the K6 is the perfect choice for me.
